Our time in Twin Falls is coming to an end

Well, It's finally here. After 7 months in Twin Falls, it's time to move! It's been such a crazy summer, but we have loved it. It's been Jake's most successful summer yet, and he's ending with 520 sales. For anyone who has had worked in summer sales...you know what an achievement this is. There were stretches where it was extremely challenging for him, but he has grown so much as a salesman, and as a father and husband. This was a fantastic experience for us as a family, and we are so happy that we followed the inspiration that we felt to come here. I am now happy to say that after he has worked so hard, he now has the next 5 months off. Yay for family time!

The kids are all doing wonderfully. Jack is so smart, and ready for school. He can read just about anything, and at a pretty fast rate too. His memory is unbelievable, and I keep telling him he needs to go to medical school someday because it would be a same to waste such a gift! He'll be doing the Kimber Academy curriculum  at the Case home with his cousins Cyrus and Darius. It's a private LDS school that Erin has purchased the curriculum from the for the past year. She has attended several training conferences put on by the founders of the school in Utah, and she has a big screen TV in their classroom that is connected via satellite to the Kimber Academy there, so our kids can follow what's going on in the actual classroom. Cool huh! Jake and I are really excited to be involved in Jack's education, and we plan to go to school every day as a family this fall.

We'll let Jess participate in school as much as he wants to this year. He loves to do everything that Jack does, and I think he'll have a lot of fun too. Sometimes I forget that he's not a baby any anymore, and I'm still shocked at his intelligence and sense of humor. He is a whiz at the computer, and loves just about any kind of game. He is a lover, and gets super excited whenever he sees family members or friends. We think he will be interested in music as he gets older because he loves to sing, and has really good pitch. He finds humor in everything, and is always joking and laughing.

June has been such a joy to have in our family! She's growing like crazy too. At her 2 month appointment (August 27th), she was 10 lbs already! So I'm guessing she's around 12 lbs now that she's almost 3 months. She is so smiley all the time, and loves her daddy and her brothers. She is holding her head up really well, and she'll "talk" back to you when you talk to her. She's such a content little girl, and only makes noise if she needs something. She loves to snuggle with daddy and just like the boys, she loves to sit at the computer with mommy and watch everything on the screen. She also really likes to take showers with us, and usually falls right to sleep when she feels the warm water. She seems to already have a love for food, and would probably nurse all day if I let her! We fall more in love with our lovely lady every day.

Our plans have changed about a million times as far as what we were going to do when the summer came to an end, but we have settled on our plan. We are moving back to Boise next week and buying a home. What?? Settling down?? After 12 moves in 6 years? I know.....shocking. It was a big decision for us rolling stones...but now that we have 3 little ones, moving so often has become harder, and it's important for the kiddos to have some place to call home. Now the hard part: finding a home that we can commit to! We have looked a little bit, but our serious house hunting will begin in October when we are staying with our family in Boise.
